I watched "Rome at Dawn / Les Bijoux Brillants," one of the goodies that the Crescent Shop fairy set down on my doorstep yesterday. The budget saved in costumes and sets on the first part of the show was clearly blown in the revue. Pure, unadulterated, awesomeness - sans the 3 scenes placed after the credits that had their audio replaced due to copyright issues. I really would have loved to hear everyone singing "Happy Together."
I seem to notice this copyright issue popping up more and more lately. It could be simply because I didn't notice it on other shows - or it could be that it's becoming more prevalent. It also popped up in "Albatross, Minami e," and I presuming that it's the same for the Rockette and Otokoyaku dance for "Phantom," since those silent after the credits.
On a different note... part of me is sad and wished that the
2006 Tsukigumi Encourage Concert were actually released on cd/video/dvd/anythingthaticouldhearmaggy
in >_> Alas, I can only sigh and dream... (not that I would mind the sora concert either)
