An S-seki to see Zunko a second time in Super Live Vol. 2 - Love Legend (I already have 2nd floor A-seki tickets to see it with mizukusa on April 5th.)

Or

The Yume no Ukihashi / Apasionado! DVD.


Faced with a choice between a 12,000 yen S-seki ticket in the last rows of the first floor of Umegei.... and the DVD...

I found myself coming home from my trip to the Mura today for Karaoke with arlecchinic, wao_wao and cutelatingirl with an unexpected purple bag....

Please say it's not permanently sold out....as in out of print ;_;

Not that I was going to buy it right away as I don't have the money to spare at the moment ... but... I need it for my "Every commercial release with Magee and Zunko Collection"!

(Plus I've really been wanting to see it anyways)

Containing a pleasant surprise... It used to be that only the Elisabeth DVDs included a song lyric subtitle track (japanese, of course), but it appears that this DVD is going to as well (*edits* At least for Mahoroba)!

The Good: I have my two boxes of shiny as the mailman was kind enough to deliver them at 9:30 this morning, before I went to work.

The Bad: The mailman ringing the doorbell at 9:30 this morning is actually what what woke me up. Mind you, I usually LEAVE FOR WORK at 9:30. Apparently I'd set my alarm clock for PM instead of AM

So I have lots and lots and lots of shiny to come home to. (Not that I didn't bring a program or two to peruse while on the subway >_>)

So Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the list of DOOM are complete.

Today I'm going to start slowly working on Phase 3 - the DVD list of doom. This is going to be that fun fun one that I'll get to try and keep up-to-date ^^;;

I'm going to need the assistance of anyone who has Takarazuka DVD's to help me out with something, though, as I (understandably) am unable to find this info anywhere online. (If you know where I COULD find out, please feel free to tell me!)

Hankyuu has been rather arbitrary, it seems, in region coding their DVDs. I'm suppposing it's ultimately part of licensing agreements. The bulk of TCA video releases are region free; however, there are occasional releases in Region 2 encoding. I love making this list and promoting people to purchase the DVDs, but would hate for someone to be sorely disappointed if they find they can't watch their DVD in their normal DVD player.

The only DVD I personally have that is Region 2 is the 2002 TCA special. If you have or know of any others, please feel free to let me know!

Sometimes I wander what Masamichi's anual budget for bubble wrap is. It never fails to amaze me just how much bubble wrap is used when shipping things to me. I'm not complaining... but when you have a box with 6 videos, 1 program and 1 le cinq, each of them carefully individually cocooned in their protective bubbley barrier.... you start to wonder if this man is the sole person keeping the bubble wrap industry happy O_O

In other words... oooo shiney!

Our respective troupes? Check (I'm Sora, she's Yuki)
Glasses that match our respective troupes? Check (I'm the purple one, she's the green one)
"Beverages" to fill said glasses? Check

Our drinks of choice this evening are appropriately named "Passion and Pain." One half Wild Passion Alize. One half Champagne. One completely apropos title for a Takarazuka marathon.

And as if "Madame Wolf's Collection" wasn't already dirty enough a song....
